Networker Client not reflecting changed drive letter

Hi All, my first time here

I have a server that we built and configured for networker and all went well and it was backing up for a few weeks, however before the server was put in to the live environment the drive letter F: was changed to be S:.  The server was then put in to production, however  after a few weeks I have fired up the networker client, go to restore and displayed is the original drive letters C: and F: and the last backup date is stated as being the day before the drive letter was changed - no sign of the S: drive !!  I know that the S: drive is being backed up as I can see it in the sessions and also the indexes.  I expected to see C: and S: - I am stuck with this and would really appriciate it anybody could give me tips on where to start to get the client to display the correct / current file structure.

Thanks in advance

Ron

Sounds like you simply have to set the browse time to the time before renaming.

If you backup Drive F, NetWorker will show Drive F. If you backup Drive S, it will show Drive S. If you change the drive letter from Drive F to Drive S in OS, the backed up data will still show as F drive. Only the future backup data will show as S drive.

Did you specify Drive S save set in the client resource after changing Drive F to Drive S in OS? If you did not specify Drive S save set in the client resource, I am afraid Drive S will not be backed up.

Now I am afraid you have to:

Wait till the current backup session finishes and then restore Drive S (you should be able to see Drive S after the backup finishes).

Or

Change the Drive S back to Drive F in OS and then select Drive F to restore. And the restore finishes, you can change the Drive F to Drive S again.
