Networker Fast Start

I have a question.

I am putting together a DR site for use with Recoverpoint and part of that is to have a Networker server there in case of failover.

My production server is running NW 7.4.4 with licenses for Exchange, SQL, EDL etc.

At my DR site, the EMC rep has quoted me the following only for use with a 30TB EDL4106:

NETWORKER FAST START WITH AUTOCHANGER FOR WINDOWS
HOMEBASE SE FS
NETWORKER VIRTUAL TAPE LIBRARY 5TB CAPACITYADDON
NETWORKER-VILT FOR FASTSTART
NETWORKER NODE MGR SFTW OPT FOR DL4000 SERIES

I don't really have experience with Fast Start or Homebase SE. Can someone share some info with me on this?

I am very familiar with the standard Networker product, modules, and licensing, but this just doesn't look right and I don't want to have to go back after the fact when this doesn't fit my needs.

My current licensing looks like this:

NetWorker Server Network Edition Windows
NetWorker Access Control
Networker Client Connections for W/U/L/N/O Qty 5
Network Ed Dedicated Storage Node for Windows
NETWORKER MANAGEMENT CONSOLE
Networker Module for MS Exchange Server Tier 2
Networker Module for MS Exchange Server Tier 2
Networker Module for MS SQL Server Tier 2
NetWorker Mod for Microsoft Applications
NetWorker Mod for Microsoft Applications
Networker DiskBackup Option Tier 2
Networker Dynamic Drive Sharing Option
Networker Dynamic Drive Sharing Option
Networker Management Console
Networker Administration Connection
Autochanger Software Module 1-40 Slots
NetWorker Virtual Tape Library Option 10TB
NetWorker Storage Node for CLARiiON Disk Library
NetWorker Virtual Tape Library Option Base 10TB

Shouldn't it be similar?

Thanks.

Networker Fast Start is an fully operational version of Networker. It's NOT an different version. It's sales-wise an interesting combination, which works for most compagnies. Networker Fast Start can price-wise compete (in the netherlands) with HP Dataprotector and BackupExec, which i think was before Networker Fast Start impossible.

Networker Fast Start contains:
Networker Server
20 clients
5 application modules
10 TB Backup 2 Disk / Library
40 Slots Autochanger

Take what you need minus what is offered, that is what you are missing from being satisfied.

kind regards
