Networker not backing up specific directories

Hi Friends,

Thanks for your support for solving my previous issues !!!

I am facing a new issue. During the backup of a particular client through Networker, I am getting the following output.
==========================================================
--- Unsuccessful Save Sets ---

* flpdhs01:/flpdhs01_2/users 1 retry attempted
* flpdhs01:/apps/UG 1 retry attempted

--- Successful Save Sets ---

flpdhs01: /etc/lvmconf level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:06 0 files
flpdhs01: /usr/filesysdb/logs level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:11 0 files
flpdhs01: /usr/local/bin level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:06 0 files
flpdhs01: /var/spool/cron/crontabs level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:12 0 files
flpdhs01: /apps/sa level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:12 0 files
flpdhs01: /etc/passwd level=incr, 0 KB 00:00:18 0 files
flfe1fa6.flt.acr.gmeds.com: index:flpdhs01 level=9, 54 KB 00:00:06 14 files
===========================================================
Here, of the client, some directories are backed up and others are not. When I logged in to the client and checked, I have found both (backed up and non-backed up) directories are having the same permissions.
===========================================================
# cd /apps
# ls -l
total 6
drwxrwxrwx 32 root sys 1024 Apr 8 13:23 UG
drwxrwx--- 19 amass sys 1024 Jan 30 03:00 amass
drwxrwxrwx 8 root 22 1024 Nov 6 1998 sa
===========================================================

Kindly help me to solve this issue..

Thanks in Advance !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regards,
Shreejesh.

Try to run a manual save (from client) of one of the failed savesets, and see the error messages, there must be something else. Like:

save -vvv -s -b /apps/UG

Also, verify if they're different filesystems, not only subdirectories.

What about the transfer rate between Backup Server and that client? It could be that the backup is failing because of those filesystem have so many small files and this causes that the backup is so slow that it aborts due to inactivity.
