Networker not resetting archive bit

Networker 7.1.1

We run a full backup each Friday..
The next backup straight after the full is set to an Incremental - Even though it says it's doing an Incremental it actually does another full ??

How do you check it is doing Full everytime?

If the file modification date stamp has changed since last Full backup that file will be backed up full again. Incremental means not to backup files if their Date stamp has not changed.

We check the indexes on networker which shows that it is doing a full backup due to the amount of data it has backed up which usually matched the last full backup..ie;- Incremental will do about 2mb where the full does 230mb.

I'm aware the if the date stamp on the file has changed then that file will be backed up, but it is backing up the full drives and not just files that have been updated since the last full backup.

Can you confirm that in media database backup has been also marked as incremental? Is it possible that some other application is messing up with A bit (actually, having whole listing of drive to check if A bit is set or not before backup would be good test). With Windows, I would suggest to start using journal as it should give you much better and faster results.
