Hi all,

in the past, my Database (Oracle 11.2.0.3) was backuped via RMAN over NMDA (1.2) direct on the tape drives

This Database was upgraded to Oracle 12.1.0.2 and I have upraded the RMAN DB and catalog too.

When I try to backup the Oracle 12 DB, with the same script as in the past, now I get an error message :

ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:

ORA-00447: fatal error in background process

The same scripts and RMAN catalog was also used for Ora10 and 11 DBs and this runns without errors

Can someone help me?
