Could be that your NMC db backup is failing as it can't find its library. To check that out try performing backup from client side and you will immediately see if that is the problem.

Hrvoje, Since I defined the saveset within quotes as under, the printer invalid problem has gone e.g. "NMCASA:/gst_on_aeauhsa08/lgto_gst" The backup command I use is savepsm The bootstrap notification has also been defined with full path and within quotes as follows:- nsrlpr -P "\\aeauhsa08.mubadala.ae\HP5000F10" Since these changes were made I notice that the backup job details show the backup completes ok (both bootstrap 19MB and index files 129MB are backed up successfully) but on the GUI job status shows as 'failed'
Havent yet used the Command Line Interface for backup, but would that help? If so how is this initiated, I mean what command? Thanks for your assistance
Well, according to your output NMC backup is not running. I know that I do not need to use any quotes for this to work. In what field did you specify printer - in savegrp resource or bootstrap notification resource?
Check manual for savepsm - there is also explanation in admin guide.

2. Did you try CLI initiated backup.
Are you trying to say that if you don't use printer field NMC backup works then?

Since I defined the saveset within quotes as under, the printer invalid problem has gone e.g.
"NMCASA:/gst_on_aeauhsa08/lgto_gst"
The backup command I use is savepsm
The bootstrap notification has also been defined with full path and within quotes as follows:-
nsrlpr -P "\\aeauhsa08.mubadala.ae\HP5000F10"
Since these changes were made I notice that the backup job details show the backup completes ok (both bootstrap 19MB and index files 129MB are backed up successfully) but on the GUI job status shows as 'failed'
Havent yet used the Command Line Interface for backup, but would that help? If so how is this initiated, I mean what command?
Thanks for your assistance
