No device found for backup in NMC
Error `11390:nsrd: no matching devices for save of client `clientvm'; check storage nodes, devices or pools.`
Hi, I am facing this issue frequently and i able to resolve by doing unmount and mount the device.
is there any permanent solution for this?
networker version = 19.5(windows)
If you just have one device configured to the pool where the NMC backups are going it might be wise to check the load on this device. It might be that the backups just waits for a very long time or there might be network errors that might be causing the DD device to be hung for. Can you check the daemon.raw to check any device related errors, also possible add one more device to this pool to make sure that the single device is not overloaded at times.

What does 'frequently' mean at all?
The origin of this error can be a wrong configuration as well as a temporary overload or a temp network instability. But without any further details we cannot be more precise.
