NSR directive file parsed in backup

Hi

have any of you people run into this during a backup of a Networker server.

A group running a backup of the Networker server itself ends with this "Failure":

savegrp: suppressed 41 lines of output.

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\index\server1\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\index\server2\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\index\serve3\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\index\server4\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\index\vmwin72\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\logs\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\mm\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\res\nsr.dir) parsed

66135:save: NSR directive file (C:\Program Files\Legato\nsr\tmp\nsr.dir) parsed

Note that i replaced original server names with server 1 to 4.

Enviroment is Windows 2008 running in VMware 5.0

'parsed' just means that these local directives have been processed.

Backing up the indexes should not be any issue as these files are considered to be static.

So what is the exact error message - detail info showing?

Agree with bingo, this is not a failure.  Though it can cause savegrp failure if you changed group success threshold from warning to success.

Hi

yes I do agree myself that this should not be a failure but Networker reports this as a failure in the savegroup.

I guess an upgrade of Networker is worthwhile now anyway. We will see what that does for us.

But thanks for the commenst ya all.

Best regards Otto
