NSRMMD Service on AIX Storage node not started
Installed 7.6.3 on AIX , with lgtoclnt, lgto ,lgtonode .
the NSRMMD is not starting when i start the /etc/rc.nsr
i inquired and saw the devices.
when i create the SN resource and scan for devices it throws error , that
" The device IBM ULTRIUM-TD3 871 is not installed properly.
Warning Saturday 2:25:46 AM event media Media warning: Can't create new LTO Ultrium-5 : The device HP Ultrium 5-SCSI I69 is not installed properly. "
.. Please suggest. why my Storage node is creating.
tried, stop /start nsr and reinsatlling the packages
Urgent inputs required.

You will need to install drivers for tapes and from my experience on AIX (both 6.1 and 7.1) you will need to unload/load lus driver from LGTO after that. Then, with inquire you should be able to see drives and configure them. Also, 7.6.3 is not recommended version to go these days since it will be EOL in some 40 days.

Hrvoje thanks for your input, can u tell me where can i find the right drivers from ?
and plz explain the load/unload lus process after that..

You can find them on IBM site (or whatever drives you use they should have drivers for AIX).
To unload lus run: rmdev -l lus
To load lus run: mkdev -l lus
To check lus definition run: lsdev -C -l lus
To check devices visible run: lsdev -Cc tape
You might need to run cfgmgr after device installation.
Since you do not leave impression of person who knows what is doing and you claim this to be urgent, I would advise you to engage official support channel.
