Problem adding Celerra as NDMP client in Networker
Hi
I would explaine the scenario for you understanding.
Cellera NX4-120 is a file server which is Connected to Tandberg Auto Loader through Fiber Channel. We have also enabled NDMP services on Celerra Storage.
We also have one Networker 7.6 SP2 which will work as backup Server. We are trying to integrate Celerra and Networker for backup automation but i am not able to integrate them.
I am able to see Tape Drive and AutoLoader in Networker "DEVICE" tree. I configured it using "jbconfig" command. Celerra Server_2 is also added in
"Storage Node" tree.
Now a want to take backup of Celerra CIFS share using NDMP on Tapes. I tried adding Celerra as client for configuring backup but no success.
I am getting two error messages.
"Unable to connect to server: Failed to contact using UDP ping."
"Server_2 is not a valid client"
Your suggestions are appreciated.

First one, UDP ping, is NMC one and can be change from setup options in NMC's first window.
sever_2 is not valid client means that IP assigned to your DM which you expoerted is not known as server_2 or anything else that you tries. In short, server_2 can't be resolved to IP.
