Problem in adding client

Question

I have installed Networker 7.3 on Windows2003 with SP1. I have upgraded it to Networker 7.3.1 by downloading the patch from the site. Now when I want to add the client through client wizard, it keeps on searching for the client, when I manually STOP searching it shows all the clients attached to the server, but if I select any client and click on NEXT, it again gives no response and stucks there only. I have only upgraded the server, not the clients, do I upgrade the clients also ?

Don't use wizard - use NMC administration GUI - you can't go wrong with that.

Yeah that sounds rather peculiar - try upgrading one client to v7.3.1 and see if you can then use the wizard with that client.

Has anything else changed on your server around the same time you upgraded? Any DNS issues etc?
