Problem with recovering Lotus Notes db's
We are experiencing a problem trying to recover Notes data from historical clone tapes that are no longer in the media database.
We are running Networker 7.2.2 (Windows), and Networker Module for Lotus Notes 2.2.1 on all our Notes servers.
We have run scanner ¿i ¿m against each of the tapes, and nsrck ¿L 7.
Nsinfo shows the files that we wish to restore in the index, but we are unable to view any files from these dates using Networker User GUI for Lotus Notes.
All savegroup logs show successful completion of the backups, Index and Notes Browselist.
The only change to the system since the original backups in Jan 06 has been upgrading from LTO1 to LTO3 drives in our library, but this should not stop the selective recovery of data.
This error only happens on the Notes recoveries, as the normal backups (OS and non-agent data etc) are able to be read and restored from the same clone set.
Can anyone shed any light on why this is the case, or better still, a way of restoring the data that appears to be on the tapes?
Thanks in advance
Geoff
