Problems with NMC after installing Java Update

Question

So, I get the annoying little Java bubble message in my system tray saying there is an update. I installed the update. Now the Networker Management Console doesn't work correctly. I can get to the first screen after logging in, but when I click on Enterprise>Servername the window pane on the right is just blank gray. It never displays the object that launches the app. It doesn't matter if I launch in Firefox or IE6. I am running Networker 7.3.2 update 1. Anybody else run into this? Message was edited by: Zguy28

Btw, what java version did you install to?

No idea, but try to clear java cache first. If that goes wrong try to reinstall NMC.

No, this is know thing. In docs you will find that 1.6 java is not supported.

Clearing the Java cache didn't work.I have:J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 11Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_11Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1The last one I believe was the latest update from Java.EDIT: I just confirmed that was the problem. I uninstalled Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 Update 1 and the console works again.Should I notify EMC/Legato somehow?Message was edited by: Zguy28

Hello,I have seen the same behaviour, stick with java versions supported by networker until emc gets around supporting heigher java versions
