Pushing report out via e-mail?

Hi all - we are running NW 7.2.2 and I have the 7.3 GUI - I need to push out a daily GROUP summary report to a user via email. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a simple way to do this without manually sending an email daily? Thanks!

The only way would be to send email automatically :D However there is no direct way from NMC to support that. So, I guess you would need few steps or single scripts where first via cmd report is created and in second step it is emailed to used.

However, you may ask yourself following question too - why user should not be able to log onto NMC and run report by themselves?

I too would like to automate the generation of some of the new 7.3.2 GUI reports. I noticed that when you go through the interface, you are able to convert the reports to several different formats as well.

Does anyone know of a way to script the geneneration of these reports? While the suggestion of having the user's log into the gui and do it themselves will work for 1 or 2 of the users, we also have several people that we send daily reports to on backup status that do not have access to the networker GUI (an will not).

Thanks

Unfortunately, I have not been able to find the command reference for the NMC.. (too many other backup shuffling going on right now, and not enough time..:( ).. do you happen to know either the man page or the pdf doc name that has the command reference?

thanks

In that case create reports from cmd and email them out.

Yes, the command you are after is called gstclreport and manual for it says it all. There is command like guide available for download from docs section and you may find it there too.
