Rant... does anybody actually like Networker?

Networker is the biggest peice of garbage backup program I have ever used. Netbackup would have been configured 2 weeks ago! Ever EMC support does not fully understand this software. I run a backup, index hangs 'looking for media' ITS ON A DD DEVICE! I make a change.. client A now works. Client B now breaks ... ERRRRR Make another change Client B now work... wrong DD device though... ERRR... EMC says I need a new pool so I create a new pool... nada..... My wish is that we can scrap this POS and get a working software like Netbackup. At least their support knows the product!

Perhaps you only need to read the manual. I'm 99% sure your issues are bad configuration.
