Anuj he didnt want to know how to see license values, otherwise nsrlic -v was way more helpful than the logfiles, he wanted to know how he can identify what license has been allocated to what system/client.

When you restart services, daemon.log has some outputs that can be helpful -

09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: NetWork Edition
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: License Summary:
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: Available: sv=10, ws=0, clu=0, clu_nt=2, clu_unix=0, clu_linux=0, ndmp=0
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: Borrowed: sv_borrowed=0, clu_borrowed_nt=0, clu_borrowed_unix=0, clu_borrowed_linux=0
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: Remaining: sv=2, ws=0, clu=0, clu_nt=2, clu_unix=0, clu_linux=0, ndmp=0
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: Connected Servers: (8)
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: hostnames fo the client attached
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: hostname of the server
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server: Available=2, Remaining=2, Used=0
09/09/06 10:21:24 nsrd: BusinesSuite Module for Lotus Notes: Available=2, Remaining=2, Used=0

Check these.

nsrlic (nsrlic -v) doesnt show you everything, it will show the systems specific for Modules and clusters etc, but it does not show clients, storage nodes(SN,DSN), DDS drives etc, these are done within Networker and are mostly incremented values, i.e. 20 licenses, 20 clients 20/20 match......Autochanger using hidden options (details) mode will show the attached license(s) within their hidden config options.....

if you are using license manager, which i am sure your not (or you wouldnt ask this), it shows every license and the system it has been designated too.

nsrlic -vv works fine.

E.g.

Under Connected Clients: Shows all Servers using a regular CAL.
Under CLUSTER CLIENT LICENSES: Shows a Servers using a MSCS CAL.
Under NetWorker Module for Microsoft SQL Server: Shows all Servers using a SQL CAL.

etc
