Error: 'nsrexecd SYSTEM error: There is already a machine using the name:'

Hi All, We have observed the following error in the daemon.log file: '39078 26/09/2008 12:38:30 0 0 2 6224 9948 0 BSSICESMAD06001 nsrexecd SYSTEM error: There is already a machine using the name: 'clsicesmad06001.sic.grupoberge.net'. Either choose a different name for your machine, or delete the 'NSR peer information' entry for 'clsicesmad06001.sic.grupoberge.net' on host: 'bssicesmad06001.sic.grupoberge.net'. Our customer has the following environment: [NetWorker Server] 'bssicesmad06001' Windows 2003 Server R2 SE SP1 NetWorker 7.4.3.Build.569 [NetWorker Cluster Client - Active-Pasive] Physical Nodes - Node 1:'clsicesmad06001' Node 2:'clsicesmad06002' Windows 2003 Server EE SP2 NetWorker 7.4.3.Build.569 Open File Manager [Jukebox-Autochanger] HP MSL6030 2xLTO Ultrium 3 [Changes in the environment] In late September 2008, we made an upgrade from NetWorker 7.3.3 to NetWorker 7.4.3 And in the daemon.log there are many messages like this. The backups are working properly and no problems with recoveries. If someone has a similar problem or some idea I'll be happy to hear their suggestions. Thanks, Regards, Edmundo Eho

First solution is given in text of error message. Second solution is to disable nsrauth which has been explained many many times before on this pages. Use forum search to trace more details.

Disable nsauth or set it to old auth. Methods discussed in forum several times + avaiolable in admin guide.
