I also would like to know how you configure this.

I have installed NME 5.1 SP2 and everytime I lauch the NME console from my passive node I am greeted with a window like this.

Server: Wood-5
StageCCR1 is not a client of this server

wood-5: this is my netowrker management server
stageccr1: is the virtual server name

What the hell does this means?

NME 5.1.2 is not supported for backup of CCR passive node according to the release notes. You will need NMM for that.

I am trying to get NMM to work, as far as i can tell i have set everything up as the admin guide explains however when i run a backup i get the following error:

Import seems to fail, I guess you would need to run debug and check proxy host for more messages.

we are not running a proxy (well the exchange client is a proxy of itself).

I am getting this error now:

Got a call logged with EMC but I am not getting much joy, so any help is more than appreciated.

Do you have replication manager installed?

No we don't, that is the strange thing.

The databases are replicated via Exchange CCR, they do reside on a Clariion disk but replication amanger is not installed.

I think normally it would use RM to ship data to proxy... without it I'm not sure how it works really. Unless there is a setting where you can specify you're not using it, it seems module is checking for it and expects it to be there.

Is Replication Manger required to be installed for this configuration?
