The "NetWorker Backup and Recover Server" service does not start automatic
Hi guys,
I have a problem with the backup server when I reboot the server. The following services do not start automatically, I have to start them manaully otherwise the networker will not work.
- EMC GST Service
- NetWorker Backup and Recover Server
When I check the event viewer I go error with event ID 7001, 7009 .
OS: WIndows 2003 std SP2
Networker 7.4.4

It might be some sort of other seervice starting during startup which is messing up of client service doesn't start in expected time fashion thus dependent services like GST and nsrd won't either. In 2008 usually you can easily put delay on startup of services, but with 2003 I'm not sure how to do that without 3rd party software.

Have you restricted ports on your backup server?
Please post the output of nsrports.
Please post the error you get in event log.
Please disable your Anti-virus and do a reboot.
