read open error,requested resource is in use

Question

Hi,

I am using a Tandberg S24 library.When we start the backup or start any other service like inventory or label. It's giving an error read open error,requested resource is in use". Networker version is 7.3.2 and the platform is Windows 2003.
Please advise..

Could be few things from an issue like where you specify device explicitly and that device is in use to RSM which is enabled and interfering with communication.

I had this problem before, I had to delete the existing library, scan for new devices and reconfigure the new library. This solved my problem, you may wish to try it.
