Recover Command

Question

Cannot seem to figure out automatic file recovery command. Source client: unix1 Dest. client: unix2 NW server: NW_UNIX Need to recover /unix/dir1/ from source client to dest. client on /directory2/ I have to perform this through command line from our NW server. Please help! Thanks

Automation flag (-a) is not supported for directed recovery. However, you can use the here document and do a directed recovery.

The only option is to run recovery from the NW server (I cannot recover from source nor destn.)

You can use the recover command in interactive mode preferably from the dest. client i.e. unix2 and select your options OR refer to recover command options and run it from unix2 with the options.

recover command would help you in that as well. Be careful while marking the Source and the Destination.
