RPC communication between local and remote (most common) daemons/services or local ones was disrupted somehow. Usually additional message (if available) will give more clues.

Hi. I have to say; the errors I give you you sure do know well!! Too bad I didn't pay enough attention this time. Turns out that I have a bad fiber NIC in my server that was causing the intermittent pings and lack of communications. Your help is, as always, valued more than I can say. Thanks!
