SDLT and LTO storage nodes in single data zone
Hi,
I'm going to add an storage (ML6000)autoloader to data zone. The present one uses SDLT media.Need to use same seris labels for both storage nodes.
Here are some questions
What will be the efficient metod to handle different type of media in networker?
Do I need to use different pools for LTO and SDLT ?
Can I select different storage nodes devices in POOL-Devices?

Officially you will need AlphaStor for that.
That would be wise if you go for unsupported "solution", but with AlphaStor it would not be required.
POOL-Devices?
Yes.

What are the possible issues in using different type media in networker zone?
is this configuration unsupported by EMC?
Thanks

Its not in the same library, its a different library attached to another storage node.
Thanks
