Are you browsing right client?  Do you have permissions set for that?

Yes.The permissions are correct.

The issue is that we can see the versions of other 3 databases which reside on the same client but not the database that we want to restore.

EMC tech support has advised to scan the index tapes also along with the data tapes.Does it work if we try that?

If I were you, I would first check backup log on client to see if that database has been backed up at all.  Since you see 3 databases from same host and 1 is missing it may indicate that database has not been saved (I assume here you use same policy and pool for all 4 databases).  In such case, if db is not backed up, there is nothing to scan either.  So, first make sure backup was done in the first place.

We have checked and confirmed that the database has been backed up successfully. We were able to restore the data using WAN however if we do it from a different zone after scanning ,we are not able to see the data.

We have checked all the configurations and everything is looking fine.We have also used all possible options to scan the tape but no luck.

Can any one suggest what the problem might be?

Have worked on this and the configurations are all correct.

Got a reply from EMC that this is a known issue in this version of SQL module when the database size is more than 200GB and the only solution is to upgrade the SQL module version.
