StorageNode + DD2200(Cannot open a save session)
I have recently added a new Storage Node with a new DD2200 as a DDBoost device. Everything seemed to work until the end of every backup, they fail when try to save the index and the bootstrap. The error message says
"90018:save: Cannot open a save session with NetWorker server 'bcbackup.po.local': no matching devices for save of client `bcbackup.po.local'; check storage nodes, devices or pools"
"90018:save: Cannot open a save session with NetWorker server 'bcbackup.po.local': no matching devices for save of client `bcbackup.po.local'; check storage nodes, devices or pools
bcbackup.po.local:bootstrap: retried 1 times"
I have already checked ip communication and name resolution on each device and storage node, everything is OK.
Does anyone could help to work around with this?
THANKS IN ADVANCED.

Hi jaime.rico,
Bootstrap and index backups have to go to a device attached directly to the backup server. So to resolve this issue create another DD device with the backup server itself as the storage node. Label it to the same pool as the other device and test backups.

... or you can skip index backup as part of the group and have index group handling backup of indices.

Another option you can create a separate pool for INDEX and BootStrap backups but a as crazyrov said you need to create a local device on Networker server to perform Index and Bootstrap backup.
Index and bootstrap backups are part of networker server.
