Sybase Backup Help
Hello Everyone,
I am using networker for 2 years i learned a lot of thing. But today i have challenging situation. I need to backup SAP sybase databases. Actually i know nothing about SAP and sybase databases . I downloaded NMDB module and install it. By the way i am using NW 8.Sp2 when i am trying to add client i can see the sybase option in wizard but if i choose it and go on it says can not connect to client. I am so new with this database i read administrator document but still i have black outs. If anybody know how to set backup for sybase databases please help me.

Probably a network connection issue.
Can the NMC server, NW server and the client communicate with each other?

Hi,
Yes two of them can comminicate with each other. Also yesterday i create a service request for that and i learned that thpe platfom for sybase is not supported by networker agent . My customer using 2008 r2 x64 and sybase on it.
