Hello, Currently we are using Networker 7.2.2 and NMO 4.2 and we are planning to move from tape derive solution to hard disk based solution. What is the lifetime of any hard disk solution?

There is no 'rule of thumb' for lifetime of disk backups. You have to choose how long you need to keep data accessible for recover. Other words: It's up to you.
