Yes. There was no problem. But you have to remember that NW for Linux is delivered as RPM files and the Ubuntu Linux is based on Debian and DEB files. You have to "unpack" RPM files and put them manually at the proper places and what is important you have to run POSTIN scripts from RPM files. I usually use mc (Midnight Commander) which has something called RPM FS. Just run mc, find RPM installation package, press ENTER on it and here you go ... you are inside RPM file. Just copy files and POSTIN scripts to the /tmp file (or any other place) then install them manually.

For me? Yes, there has been no problem running backup and recover jobs so far, too.
However, you need to remember that EMC does not officially support Ubuntu Linux.
You should notice this to your customer. :)

Were you people able to use NMC also on Ubuntu Linux system?
