Unable to delete storage node from NMC

Hello,

While removing one of the storage node (no more existing) from NMC.

It says, cannot remove SN as devices found for this SN.

I have not tried deleting it from jbedit as i am not aware of the proper command for deleting Sn/devices from the jbedit command.

My NW version is 7.5.1

You should be able to delete this using nsradmin.  Make sure to have a valid bootstrap backup and make a zipped/tarred
copy of your 'res' directory before doing anything in nsradmin.

1.       Stop NetWorker services

2.       Make a zipped copy of the res for safekeeping

3.       Run "nsradmin -d "

nsradmin> . type: NSR storage node

              nsradmin> delete

nsradmin cycle through the list of Storage Nodes

select "y" for the Storage Node that you want to delete

select "n" for other Storage Nodes

              nsradmin> q

4.       Restart NetWorker services and launch NMC

Check if under 'devices' tab there is not devices configured to that SN, i suppose you will need to erase first those and them delete the SN.

Regards.
