unable to read rap.log

Hello, we are with Networker 8.1.2 on Solaris 10. The Networker admins cannot read the /nsr/logs/rap.log file. The problem is the owner is root the group is root and the rap*.log files are all in 600 mode. All the other log files are in 644 mode. Is there a way to permanently change the rap*.log modee to 644 without asking everytime for a Unix admin to make us a readable copy?

Regards,

NW admin should be able to get root - if not ask UNIX admin to give you sudo rights to read the file.  Thing is, rap.log may be used for audit and does contain data you may now wish to share and therefore paranoid security setting.
