Hi Satish,
While doing the migration did the hostname of the backup server change ?
Does the backup fail only for the bootstrap or for any backups ?
If you have done the migration and are trying to use the system as it is then there is a problem, Delete all the current tape and JB configuration. Then reconfigure the library with drives for the respective storage node. Ensure you see the hard ware on the OS using device management tool and that the inquire command is giving you the proper list of data.

Hello Crazyrov,
we had successfully migrated with out changing backup server name despite we had changed ip address for migrated one.
and after completion of migration we got one challenge that was regarding tape library which is belongs to autochanger is disabled frequently then we executed one command "Inquire" and from the output we sort out that control port setting had changed so we changed control port setting with the new one then issue has been resolved and we are able to mount the tape and fine about triggering backup's and running backups as well but at the end of the backup it was unable to write bootstrap and it's giving something like below
Verify lable operation in progress
ejecting in progress
Even we tried with labeling newly still it is been giving same thing
Please Help me

While migrating the environment, did you need to change the device and/or pool settings?
Do not forget that the bootstrap must be created on a local device attached to the NetWorker server.

Could you please delete your library configuration and reconfigure as this is one of the steps that had be done in the migration process.
For the backup you might have been using drives on the storage node which are with the same old configuration. but the tape drive configuration has changed on the backup server as you are on a new different hardware altogether,
So please delete the library configuration and reconfigure again.

Go into the media pool you are using, Make sure Store Intex Entries is checked on the Configuration page.
Also on the Selection Criteria/target device list it can not start with rd=

Hello @Crazyrov,
i have re-configured my library but my tape volumes screen in devices page showing that
unlabled volumes and
no pool information,
no last access time,
no mode information
,no expiration information.
so, is it means that all my old backup configuration and data has gone.

You need to pick up the "Command Reference Guide for Networker x.x" Welcome to our world.
nsrjb -lv will load each tape one at a time, check it's barcode against the media database. If it finds it it updates the media database to it's new "same" location. It is the equivalent of on the media list, selecting them all, right clicking and selecting inventory and then checking "force load and verify labels"
You might be able to restore it using a restore of your last bootstrap but I don't know how that will affect it since the jukebox name will has changed... That's a question for support.
If THAT doesn't bring them back the only other option I can think of is scanner.
Scanner will read the tapes from start to finish, identify safesets and if you ask it to, rebuild the online index. It's been a while since I've had to run it but it looks like scanner -m device (usually a specific drive, but if I remember correctly you can also specify the /dev address of the jukebox.) will rebuild the media database for savesets on that device. Yes it does take a really long time.
Right clicking on a tape and marking it as scan needed is also supposed to force it to scan the volume, but I don't know what it rebuilds, if anything.
