Hi Nicola

Thanks for your reply, I already had a cross check on the below things..

Resolution:

Correct communication VBA, NetWorker Server and vCenter server

Correct name resolution issues if any

Correct user password and location of role that is defined

All looks okay as per the VMWare Integration Guide.. I mean

  1. EBR, vCenter & Networker server all are resolving properly by nslookup,
  2. User Name & Password is also proper, created a Domain user, imported that to vCenter and allowed Admin Privilege in the top of data center level, I mean the User have administrator access in the root level of the vcenter
  3. Role selected is administrator from vCenter

Please suggest further

Hello Mohammed

Are you trying to deploy a 8.1 VBA with NetWorker Server 8.2? if
that is the situation then what is your vcenter version? And ESXi version?

Please confirm the same

Dear Deb

thank you for replying, the problem was solved long time ago, severity one case with networker support didn't help because they look only on networker side, while there should be clear pre-requirements check list to all implementation engineers for VMware environment and Networker.

any way the problem was that VSI was not installed in vcenter, we installed it and problem solved.

Mohammad
