VCB error message when I do a file level backup

Hello All, I have this error when I do a VCB file level backup. Virtual Machine had a pre-existing backup snapshot that could not be deleted. Exit code 17 If I look at my snapshot manager I do not see any _VCB-BACKUP_ snapshot hanging. And If I browse the datastore I don't see any snapshot file (the ones with extension *.vmsn) If anyone knows what this is please let me know. Thanks

Ok,Found out what is causing this problem. There was a file called .zdump.0 in my datastore. After a deletion of the snapshot by VCB this file should be deleted atomatically. Somehow It didn't. I manually deleted this and the backup went through
