Whether NMSQL can restore From one machine to another machine

when open the NW user for MSSQL,but another machine could not see the Source machine。

Even if I type the *@*  on the source machine。

Try to add source host to hosts file (or make it resolvable any other way) on target and reverse.

If it doesn't help then try to run recover from command line.

There shouldn't be a problem. You have to install NW client and NMSQL module on a target host, define it in NW as a client and add target host to remote access list on the source host. You have to remember about recover order:

First masterdb

Second msdb

Third modeldb

Fourth any other db

If you mark restore all databases NW will recover all components in correct order.

Have you backup source machine via Storage Node? If so please add this SN also to hosts file.
