Windows 2003 - Default user for NetWorker

Question

I read it somewhere that NetWorker uses built-in "System" account on Windows to backup data. Cannot find that doc. again, can someone pls. confirm this?

Also, if I need to specify a "Remote user" for Windows 2003 server backup - is this the right format "domain\user"?

Networker will use the user that starts the Nw service in Windows.

Why would you specify remote user for backup if it runs under local system account? (I'm aware only where windows admins like that when givin restore jobs to operators thus same user would do backup and restore and would not have full admin access as administrator would).

The format depends if this is domain user or not that you wish to use.
