XPS 8960 Sleep Issues

Question

Hi: Issue 1 - Dell desktop will not wake up from sleep mode using the mouse or keyboard. Only pressing the power button will wake it up. The mouse and keyboard are both set correctly to wake the device up from sleep mode but do not. Issue 2 - Not sure if this is related or not. On a fairly regular basis, the desktop will shut down while in sleep mode. When the desktop is restarted, I get the 'did not shut down correctly error message.  For both problems I've made sure I'm up to date on all Microsoft and Dell updates. Any thoughts?
