2161DS-2 Simultaneous Users
Hi
Have just installed a 2161DS-2.
I have been trying to view/control 3 servers simultaneously.
When I try to connect to the 3rd server I get an error message saying "Can't connect all channels are in use".
I have re-read the url on Dell's website which tells me how many units & I can connect together blah blah and that I can have
"two simultaneous users over the network".
Now in the English that I speak, that means two users can use the Console Switch Software at one time NOT that we can only access two servers at one time.
In the help section of the 2161DS-2, under Connection Sharing it says "a single 2161DS-2 or 4161DS appliance supports up to 12 simultaneous sessions across all attached servers)."
Dell are currently saying that you can only connect to two servers simultaneously (but they are looking in to it).
Has anybody else come accross this?
Thanks in advance (first post).

This is the PowerConnect forum only, you should post your question regarding the 2161DS-2 in the Rack Hardware forum which can be found here:-
