2724 managed mode button does not work

Question

I have a 2724 and when it boots up, the managed mode button does not do anything. Also the ports will link, but it does not pass traffic.

Is there any other tricks to resetting the unit besides pressing the managed mode button?

Does this switch need to be RMA'd?

Did you ever come up with a solution to this problem? I just bought a used (supposedly working) 2724 switch and it's doing the same thing. The link lights work on the ports, but the switch doesn't pass any traffic and I can't get the "Managed Mode" light to ever turn on. I'm guessing that I'm gonna have to return this switch, but I was just wondering if you ever figured anything out?

Unfortunately, I was told by DELL the unit would have to be replaced. I guess it is now just a unmanaged switch.
