3348 Stack Question

I have 3 3348's in a rack, all with seperate IP's connected via copper ethernet. I just found the Stack modules and was wondering what the easiest way to stack them now is..

Can I just turn them off, insert the units, cable them, then turn the switches back on?? Or do I have to do some configuration before hand?
