6024F Management

I don't know of any reason why it would fail.  I have several VLAN on my 6024 and I have management from any/all of them (as long as I'm on the correct subnet and VLAN).  But anyway, if you provide more info like screen shot of errors and maybe post your config, maybe we can see what's wrong.

Unfortunately, that's not it.  It happens within seconds after logging in.  Sometimes it just pops the login window up inside the frame where you would normally see the switchports.  I'll see if I can post a screen shot.

I can get that for you, but keep in mind that we can manage all of our other Dell switches just fine through the GUI (53xx, 34xx).

We have tried it from Server 2003, 2000, and XP Pro all running IE6.

What OS are you running, what browser (and version), are you running anything like a firewall or any security suite or anything like that on your system?

What do you mean random point?  There is a security timeout that will log out your session if you are idle for longer then the timeout period.  Maybe that's what you are observing?

Here's the switch config. The addressing is different from my original post, but the problem is the same. We can no longer stay logged into the switch GUI long enough to get a screen shot. As soon as we login, it logs us back out and gives the login dialog box. In the switch log, you can see an entry for the successful login, and then right after that you see and entry for the logout. I'll a copy of that as soon as I can.

A quick question to help me reproduce it.  Which port is your PC connecting on - the one from which you are connecting to the switch management web interface.  What is the IP address on that PC and its default GW address.

We have tried it from serveral points in the network in different vlans and the same problem exists.  Not sure what's going on.

good point on the duplicate IP address.   i'll check into that and let you know.

No dice on the duplicates.  Can you cross-reference an open ticket?  The ticket number is 77106540.  The folks at that location opened a ticket on their own and apparently the Dell rep determined that the switch is repeatedly reloading?
