Bring up MLAG with only one switch running
Hi,
Im currently testing MLAG with two N4032F to a server and failover and load balancing works. One problem I face is that the MLAG interface doesnt go up until both switches are up and running. Can I somehow force the MLAG interface so go up with only one switch running? Lets say after a power failure where only on switch boots up.

Running shut and no shut on the port channel towards the server brings the interface up with only one switch running.

If I unplug a cable or switch the link stays up. The problem is if I only power on one switch and let the other one off. Then the port channel towards the server will stay down. Found that if I run shut and no shut on the port channel interface the link will go up with only one switch.

Running latest 6.1.2.4.
I actually think that the interfaces behave like they should do. It would be wierd if say both switches boot up but without a peer-link. Then both switches would try bring up thier port-channels towards the server which I guess would mess things up. So its probably good that the interfaces doesnt go up.
This will probably never happen but its good to know that the shut/no shut command is the solution if it happens.
The sad thing is that I manage the switches over an MLAG interface. So if only one switches boots up for some reason, then I need to travel to the switch and bring the interfaces up through the console.
