Cannot add ports to VLAN
I'm trying to add ports to a newly created vlan on my PowerConnect 5424 using Dells OpenManager Switch Administator GUI.
After I tagged the ports I want to add and apply the settings I get the following error:
Port g19:Action is illegal in current Port Mode.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Thanks!
Tom

Hi Pinch04,
to add a port tagged to a new created VLAN, you need to change the port mode before. Only in port mode general or port mode trunk, you can add ports tagged to a VLAN. Else in access mode, you can only add the port untagged to the VLAN.
So please check port mode for the specific ports in VLAN --> Port Settings.
