DELL 407-BBOU SFP+ replacement transceiver module

What are you needing to install the transceiver into? Each device has it's own hardware compatibility list to check, so knowing what you're needing to install it into would provide a helpful starting point.

Would you mind sending me your tag in a private message? It was deleted before I came in today and I can't find a record of it. If you can send it in that message, I should have the needed info to answer your question with confidence. 

I'm not seeing a fiber network card in the chassis that could house the transceiver. The only ports I'm seeing with the tag would be Ethernet on the Broadcom, and the onboard ports are all 1GbE. Your post seems to indicate that a fiber controller has been installed, but it isn't listed on the order (I was hoping that it was). The controller card should have a part number on it, though. If you can share that number, or even just some images of the stickers on the card, that should help. That number won't have anything specifically identifiable to you, so sharing publicly is fine.

The R440 does support a number of different fiber controllers from multiple different manufacturers, though.

What replacements work with this card?

I only offer the originals that are too expensive...
