Dell 6000 layer 3, per vlan spanning tree

Question

Hi,   I have a Dell 3000 connected with single gig up to two dell 6000 configured with layer 3.  The vlan of the downlink ports from the 6000's to the 3000 is set to vlan 150. There is a trunk between the 6000's, but vlan 150 is not allowed. IE, there really is no layer 2/3 loop.   The Dell 3000 is blocking one of its uplinks, stating a loop.  I've set priorities and I know where the root bridge is.  In the cisco world, per vlan spanning tree would fix my problem.  What is the dell equivilent?   I have MST spanning tree running on both 6000's but it still appears to be passing stp for instance 0 (where 150 resides), even though I do not allow vlan 150 on the inter-core trunk (two 6000's).   Do I need to run MST on the 3000 ?  I'd like to avoid that if possible.  I want my access switch configurations to be simple. The access switch has 1 vlan, adding MST would require adding all other vlans, which never pass through the 3000.   I could leave the single port blocked, and allow vlan 150 on my trunk, but that doesn't provide for optium path to my datacenter servers/routers.   Can someone suggest another solution or am I stuck choosing between the above?   thanks,   G

Please tell us whether you are using 33xx or 34xx series of switches. They are quite different in behavior. Also if you are using 60xx series, please tell us what version of FW you are using. Also it will be helpful if you post your configurations for all your switches.
