Dell N2024 - NIC Teaming (LAG, LACP)
Can someone point me towards some documentation or provide the steps to how to create Team ports on the Dell N2000 series switch.
I have configured a NIC Team on a Windows Server 2012 r2 server. I need to know what should be configured on the Dell N2000 series switch to ensure that it works correctly. It's my understanding that you have to configure it both on the server and on the ports of the switch stack. In my case, I will have one team member from the server plugged into port 1 of switch 1 and the other plugged into port 1 of switch 2. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
It depends on what teaming mode you are using on the server. If you are using the built in Windows teaming you can choose between switch independent, which does not require any configuration on the switch or static and LACP which do. Broadcom and Intel teaming also have similar options. To configure a port channel on the switch you select the ports you want and use the channel-group command to add them to a port channel.

Thank you for your help. I also had to create the team via powershell instead of using the GUI interface.
