% Error: pattern match failed

Question

hi  Does anybody know what this means ?  % Error: pattern match failed  ( got above upon setting up host name for S4112 OS10.5.2 using _ for name  )    Is there any info for unsupported characters for naming switch ?  CLI only says below ..  https://dl.dell.com/topicspdf/smrtfab-os10-5-2_ug_en-us.pdf Page 73 name — Enter the host name of the switch, a maximum of 64 characters.   thanks !  aya

It should display a more descriptive error message - I will report this. Please do only use characters and numbers for the hostname.
