Force10 S4820T Management Interface
I have a S4820T stack. The management interface has an IP address of 10.5.7.31. Below is a section of the config. I have PDU's connected to the switches in ports t0/28-30 & t1/28-30. These ports have been added to VLAN 407. The other VLAN on the switch is VLAN 402 which is being used for SANS. The IP's that have been added to the PDU's are 10.5.7.15 - 20. I cannot ping the PDU's. I am wondering if this could be a config problem on the S4820T or a problem with the PDU's. I'm new to the forums here. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Out of curiousity...
Where are you pinging the PDUs from? The Force10? If not the force10 did you try and specify the IP from VLAN 402 as the from address? You have defined VLAN 407 as a layer 2 VLAN only - so this switch is not routing for it. What device is routing ? Something over PO 31 or 32? Do you have the trunk on the other side configured correctly for the tag?
What is the gateway - I see 10.5.2.1 and 10.5.7.1 - what device(s) is this and how do they route?

I am pinging from the Force10. The Force10 is connected to a Nexus5000 over PO 31 & 32. The trunk seems to be configured correctly, as everything else on the network is working just fine. the gateways lie on the Nexus5000

Easy test one - put an IP on VLAN 407 and see if you can ping. If yes - then something in wrong with the trunk, if no, something is wrong with your port configurations.
