The Dell Switch is a Force10 S4810 and the Themis server is RES-XR4-HD. The IPMI does support remote power on and does not need POE to work. I have plugged a regular household linksys switch and also directly into it and both work fine. Its something that the S4810 is not powering on the port.
It gives me an error that the port is not in layer 3 mode. I tried to disable switchport to assign an ip however it makes me remove the interface from both the tagged and untagged vlans. Both of which I need it to be in,
