Force10/S-series emulator
Hi All,
Been playing with the FTOS netbsd-based emulator but I can't find a copy that is running newer than 9.8.0.0. As there's no real "flash" to store a new image on it can't be upgraded to something newer. I'm not worried about layer 2 functionality working as it relies on silicon, but other higher functions would be nice (e.g. routing)
Is there a newer version of the emulator around? I have new configs that I want to test but no spare kit to test it on (and I really don't want to test in production).
I don't really have the time to hack the ISO into a working BSD system, upgrade it then re-ISO it (or even leave it as it is).
Thanks,
William

Hi,
I was not able to find a newer version, we may not be supporting it anymore.

Hi Josh,
Thanks for the response. Shame that it's potentially been discontinued, might have to see about getting some older hardware off ebay or similar to use as lab kit. Might reach out to my account rep and see if anything is available via that path.
Regards,
William

I am also using emulator and it has a problem, it will freeze on its own, I can't fix it.
