Help with trunking between 6024 and 5324

Hello, I'm currently having a problem managing a switch (5324) connected to a 6024.  My local network is as follows:

 

6024:

vlan 10 - 172.16.11.254 /23

g24 - trunk port, add vlan 10, to 5324

 

5324:

interface vlan 1
ip address 172.16.10.250 255.255.254.0

g24 - trunk port to 6024 (vlan 10)

 

From the 6024, I can get telnet to 172.16.10.250 and from my local network (192.168.1.0/24), I can get to 172.16.11.254.  I cannot, however, get to the 172.16.10.250 to manage it, except by telnetting from the 6024 directly.

 

Any help would be appreciated.
